“视界之城”城市艺术的跨文化探索展览，将在4月3日正式登录深圳市木星美术馆。展览邀请了近40位具有国际影响力的艺术家参展，其中六位来自法国的国际艺术家和三位中国本土艺术家将会根据深圳的特色进行现场的驻地创作。

Urban Vision: A Cross-Cultural Exploration of Urban Art

2023年4月，中国和法国共同宣布全面重启中法人文交流，并于2024年两国建交60周年之际共同举办中法文化旅游年。中法文化旅游年期间，涵盖表演艺术、视觉艺术、文化遗产、旅游推广等多个领域的数百项主题活动陆续开展。

In April 2023, China and France jointly announced the comprehensive renewal of China-France people-to-people exchanges, and agreed to co-host the China-France Year of Cultural Tourism in 2024 to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties. Throughout the year, hundreds of themed activities spanning performing arts, visual arts, cultural heritage, and tourism promotion will be launched.

“视界之城”城市艺术的跨文化探索展览，将在4月3日正式登录深圳市木星美术馆。此次展览在中华人民共和国文旅部与法国文化部的批准下，被纳入“法中文化旅游年”框架，也是“中法文化之春——中法建交60周年特别呈现”系列活动之一。

Urban Vision: The International Street Art Exhibition officially commenced at the Shenzhen Jupiter Museum of Art on April 3. As a key project celebrating the "Festival Croisements: 60th anniversary of Sino-French diplomatic relations" and the "China-France Year of Cultural Tourism", this exhibition is a major cultural exchange event co-organized by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

该展览由法国策展人玛格达·唐妮诗（Magda Danysz）与中国策展人吕红荣（Hongrong Lyu）联合针对深圳市共同策划。它特别强调了街头艺术的活力与创新，这与深圳城市的文化气质——年轻、创新、国际化——不谋而合。这种充满年轻气息的艺术形式，无疑将吸引年轻人的广泛关注。

The exhibition was jointly curated for Shenzhen by French curator Magda Danysz and Chinese curator Lv Hongrong, specifically chosen for its vibrant and creative characteristics of street art, which align with Shenzhen's urban culture of youthfulness, creativity, and internationalization. This youthful art form will undoubtedly attract young people's attention.

展览邀请了近40位具有国际影响力的艺术家参展，其中六位来自法国的国际艺术家和三位中国本土艺术家将会根据深圳的特色进行现场的驻地创作，从国外来深圳驻地的国际艺术家有YZ (Yseult Digan)、Sébastien Preschoux、Seth (Julien Malland)、JonOne、Niels Shoe Meulman、 M-City，中国本土艺术家有Zinan Lam林子楠、黄立炜whyyy、林雅仪Zoie Lam。

The exhibition features nearly 40 internationally acclaimed artists, including six international and three Chinese artists created artworks and installations on site, drawing inspiration from Shenzhen’s distinctive traits. The international artists participating with artworks on site are Niels Shoe Meulman (The Netherlands), JonOne (France & USA), YZ aka Yseult Digan (France), Sébastien Preschoux (France), Seth aka Julien Malland (France), and M-City (Poland), alongside Chinese artists: Zinan Lam, Whyyy, and Zoie Lam.

本次展览驻地艺术家

Since its emergence in the 1970s, street public art was initially marginalized due to its rebellious nature within the art world, thus becoming an independent genre. Its acceptance by contemporary culture, fueled by the distinctive personalities of its artists, has allowed urban art to evolve into a trendy new topic within the art discourse. In this city, we are merely travelers, exploring its public spaces. Artists who utilize and beautify these spaces with their creations not only contribute to the city's aesthetic but also leave behind topics that shape its history. Their presence marks the evolution of the city, offering us a chance to engage in discussions about its public spaces. With the development of urban art in Asia, we are extending the reach of France's cutting-edge artists to China, fostering a dynamic exchange of cultural and artistic innovation.

This connection also hints at the potential future development of this art movement. Though it originated in the United States, its embracement by Europe due to its inclusive approach to art suggests it will flourish there and potentially become a mainstream art trend. The exhibition covers the main topics of humanities and environmental protection.

本次展览的目标在于激发公众关注、形成城市热议。它不仅标志着“中法文化之春”在华南地区的新闻发布序幕，而且是推进中法两国文化交流与合作的关键步骤。活动将在深圳市木星美术馆隆重开幕，届时，公众将有机会体验到一场集合了国际上最有影响力的街头艺术家的展览，主题为“视界之城”，展现中法文化的独特魅力。本次展览意在加深中法两国在文化领域的合作，共同促进世界文化的繁荣与发展，为全球文化交流作出积极贡献。

The aim of this exhibition is to spark popular interest and generate urban discourse. This exhibition is not only an important prelude to the press conference of the Festival Croisements in South China but also a key link to promote the cultural exchanges and cooperation between China and European countries. The event will have a grand opening at the Jupiter Museum of Art in Shenzhen City. There, the public will have the opportunity to experience a joint exhibition of the most influential international street artists, themed around "Urban Vision", and immerse in the unique allure of Chinese and European cultures. This exhibition aims to deepen the cultural cooperation between China and France, jointly promote the flourishing and development of global culture, and make a positive contribution to international cultural exchange.
