9月30日，中远海控（601919.SH）宣布，将于今年12月新开远东南美东ESA3航线，该航线作为中远海控在该市场的第三组线，将进一步增加服务频率，结合配套支线和供应链服务为客户提供更优质高效的全链运输解决方案。新开的ESA3航线开始航次将于12月17日左右从宁波首航。港序为：宁波 – 上海 – 蛇口 – 新加坡 – 桑托斯 – 纳维根特斯 – 蒙得维的亚 – 布宜诺斯艾利斯 – 纳维根特斯 – 桑托斯 – 库卡* – 新加坡 – 香港* – 宁波。
