平陆运河通航后，截至9月28日，南宁港平均每天新增平陆运河通道货量约2万吨。左右江流域铝土矿、铁矿、粮食等各类大宗货物可依托平陆运河物流通道，通过南宁港中转，经北部湾进出口，大幅缩短内陆出海运输距离。
