人民财讯9月19日电，据科技日报，北京时间9月16日晚，华中农业大学棉花团队王茂军教授课题组在国际学术期刊《细胞》发表了一项最新研究成果，该研究首次发现染色体三维空间结构是棉花品种改良的全新靶点，填补了棉花育种的理论与技术短板，为丰富棉花种质遗传资源、培育优质高产棉花新品种，开辟全新科研方向。
