9月14日，苹果新任首席执行官约翰・特努斯出席艾美奖颁奖典礼，在红毯采访环节当众展示尚未正式发售的折叠新机iPhone Duo，现场画面迅速传遍全网。 现场实拍画面显示手机内屏虽无明显折痕，但屏幕黯淡模糊。此前的苹果新品发布会上，官方曾介绍，iPhone Duo内屏搭载纳米纹理表面，作用是减少屏幕反光、弱化折痕视觉效果。
