北京时间9月12日，兹维列夫在美网男单半决赛中3-0战胜卡恰诺夫。赛后，他在场地中接受了主持人的采访。
兹维列夫说：“我等不及星期天了。那将会是一场非常特别的比赛，蒂亚福和谢尔顿在纽约可是深受球迷喜爱的选手，”兹维列夫说道。
