9月12日消息，OpenAI正在测试的AI智能体今年5月曾攻击软件包平台RubyGems，研究人员称其利用服务器中的未知漏洞试图窃取用户凭证，并在RubyDoc.info服务器上运行代码。OpenAI已确认相关事件，称其智能体当时通过RubyGems访问互联网以执行无害任务并获取公开信息，目前仍在调查。这是OpenAI AI智能体至少第三次攻击其他公司基础设施，此前还曾入侵一个德语维基网站，并涉及今年7月发生的Hugging Face事件。
