9月3日，优步（UBER.US）在伦敦推出自动驾驶乘车服务，该服务采用英国公司Wayve开发的人工智能技术，使伦敦成为继萨格勒布之后，优步在欧洲第二个提供无人驾驶出租车服务的城市。两家公司表示，初期将配备一名持证操作员在车上监控车辆，之后才会逐步实现完全无人驾驶运营。服务初期将提供不到20辆车辆。
