北京时间8月20日，据记者Jake Weinbach报道，雄鹿在追逐佩顿-沃特森的竞争中未能如愿后，可能会转而通过先签后换的方式追求本内迪克特-马图林或乔纳森-库明加。
目前，密尔沃基雄鹿的阵容中仍然存在后卫过剩的问题，球队已经有17名签有标准合同的球员。
