北京时间8月18日，据ESPN报道，巴斯家族发表声明，决定将剩余的17.8%湖人股份出售给鲍勃-艾格和乔什-库什纳集团。
声明称：“我们作为家族决定，将巴斯家族信托剩余股份出售给鲍勃-艾格集团，作为当前交易的一部分。我们热爱湖人、热爱湖人球迷，并将继续支持洛杉矶；但现在是时候利用这个机会优雅地退出了。”
此举意味着巴斯家族近五十年的湖人所有权时代正式结束。
