据报道，丰田汽车前社长、日本经济团体联合会（经团联）前会长奥田硕于当地时间8月8日去世，享年93岁。
1955年，奥田硕加入丰田汽车销售公司，在1995年成为丰田汽车史上首位“外姓社长”，任内主导扩张全球产能并推出普锐斯等车型；后于1999年至2006年担任丰田汽车董事长。2002年，奥田硕出任新合并成立的日本经团联首任会长。卸任丰田汽车董事后，奥田硕曾担任日本国际协力银行（JBIC）行长。
