8月11日，韩国央行高级副行长Yoo Sang-dai表示，若没有新的外部冲击或特殊因素，央行很可能在未来进一步加息，以控制通胀。他称，经济周期不断变化，货币政策需要提前作出响应。韩国央行7月将基准利率上调25个基点至2.75%，为3年多来首次加息。
