据Variety报道，曾联合创办经纪公司The Firm和Prospect Park的彼得·卡齐斯（Peter Katsis）于周四因充血性心力衰竭并发症去世，享年69岁。他在35年的职业生涯中管理过众多艺人，包括Jane‘s Addiction、Backstreet Boys、Korn、Morrissey、Ministry等。 卡齐斯出生于芝加哥，20世纪80年代二十出头入行，最初管理另类乐队Ministry——这支乐队当时还是合成器流行组合，但很快成为工业摇滚流派的代表之一。他活跃于芝加哥舞曲音乐场景，并曾在Trax Precision Records担任A&R主管，负责预订Marshal Jefferson、Adonis等艺人。 1990年，他搬到洛杉矶，先后与General Public、The Cramps以及爵士二人组Tuck and Patti合作。1997年，他成为 powerhouse 经纪公司The Firm的合伙人，与CEO Jeff Kwatinetz一起，在后街男孩、Korn、Enrique Iglesias、30 Seconds to Mars、Snoop Dogg、OneRepublic、Audioslave、Limp Bizkit等艺人的职业生涯中发挥了关键作用。他凭借丰富的巡演经验，帮助后街男孩从体育馆级别升级到体育场级别，并凭借“Millennium”巡演获得Pollstar最佳创意舞台设计奖。 与此同时，他在当时的nu-metal浪潮中也是重要推手，管理Korn、Limp Bizkit、Jared Leto的30 Seconds to Mars，以及由Chris Cornell和Rage Against the Machine成员组成的Audioslave。 2008年至2014年，卡齐斯与Kwatinetz、Rich Frank共同创立Prospect Park Entertainment，继续与上述部分艺人合作，还包括Smashing Pumpkins、Jane‘s Addiction和Ice Cube。在长达25年的合作后，他与Kwatinetz的合伙关系最终告一段落。
