8月6日，有市场消息称，刚果（金）已发布最新行政指令，决定彻底禁止铜精矿与钴精矿的出口。
对此，8月7日，紫金矿业方面回应记者，公司旗下科卢韦齐铜矿的产品为粗铜及电积铜，卡莫阿-卡库拉铜矿的产品为阳极板及粗铜，不属于刚果（金）禁止出口的产品。
