英格兰社区药房主导的青少年脑膜炎球菌B群疫苗项目在7月20日至31日期间已接种89261剂首针。超过8200家药房参与，项目首周获得约13.5万次预约。
该计划面向特定年龄段青年及首次进入大学或部分寄宿制继续教育机构的25岁以下人群，需间隔至少28天完成两剂。
英国国家药房协会据此呼吁将一次性项目转为年度计划，以便持续覆盖新进入适龄范围的人群，但官方尚未作出长期安排。
