据西平公安，2026年7月30日，西平县发生一起致1人死亡刑事案件。案发后，个别网民为博取流量造谣传谣。8月4日，公安机关开展网络巡查时发现，网民黄某某、张某某摆拍虚假视频并发布至某短视频平台，内容引发公众关注，扰乱公共秩序。公安机关当即依法对二人传唤调查，二人对违法行为供认不讳，现已依法对该二人作出行政处罚。
