北京时间8月3日，据勇士跟队记Marcus Thompson II报道，上赛季遭遇重伤的勇士前锋摩西-穆迪有望在新赛季开始前恢复训练。
“穆迪目前正在湾区进行康复训练。他的目标是在9月份恢复跑动，并重新开始场上训练，”Marcus Thompson II透露。
穆迪上赛季出战60场比赛，场均砍下生涯新高的12.1分3.3个篮板和1.6次助攻，但在3月对阵独行侠的比赛中遭遇左膝髌腱撕裂赛季报销。
