在8月1日天津津门虎对阵云南玉昆赛前，一名球迷因高温疑似中暑并被送医救治。据微博网友消息，这名球迷抢救无效，已经离世。
天津津门虎球员巴顿也转发了该微博，对这名球迷表示哀悼：“听到这个消息我很难过。球迷冒着高温来到现场为我们呐喊，出现这样的情况是所有人都不想看到的。希望所有来看球的朋友们，优先照顾好自己，做好防暑降温。愿逝者安息”
