也门胡塞武装发言人叶海亚当地时间7月31日在社交媒体发文称，在巩固“以封锁回应封锁”方针、并落实对沙特实施海上禁运措施的框架下，8艘沙特油轮被迫改变航线，折返驶向其出发港口。他表示，对沙特实施海上封锁行动仍在持续。只要条件允许，胡塞武装将继续拦截沙特船只。
