7月29日凌晨4时，救援人员在深度搜寻彭水山体崩塌灾害现场C区深处时，发现遇难人员遗骸，经DNA鉴定，已确认为在此次灾害中，第一时间到现场组织帮助群众转移而自己未能及时撤离的汉葭街道沙沱社区网格员龚宝冬同志。
