7月28日，位于长春市南关区前进大街与蔚山路交会处的长春植物园（一期）正式开园。作为一座免费向市民开放的植物专类园，园区保育植物10万余株，设有松柏园、槭树园、盆景园等10余处专类园区，集植物科研科普、休闲游览、历史文化、城市生态涵养等功能于一体，是中心城区兼具自然野趣与园林美感的北方城市植物专类园。
