根据中央气象台、省气象台消息，今年第12号台风“红霞”的中心已于7月26日03时50分前后在广东省惠州市惠东县平海镇登陆，登陆时强度为强台风级，中心附近最大风力14级（45米/秒），这也是今年首个登陆我省的台风。
此前，中央气象台已于7月25日22时发布台风红色预警，也是今年我国首个台风红色预警。
