当地时间23日，圭亚那总理菲利普斯表示，日前该国发生的“巴里马”号渡轮沉船事故确认遇难人数增至72人，其中65人的身份得到家属确认，搜寻和打捞行动仍在继续进行。
当地时间18日晚，“巴里马”号渡轮在圭亚那海岸附近沉没，该船曾发出求救信号。“巴里马”号原计划从圭亚那首都乔治敦前往该国西北部凯图马港。（总台记者 宫祥诚）
