7月16日，在华为乾崑媒体日的演讲上，华为高级副总裁、引望CEO靳玉志表示，用户从华为乾崑智驾的ADS 1版本升级到ADS 5，车上的硬件无需任何变化，不需要像其他企业那样推倒重来。他还表示，这是因为华为做智驾的理念有前瞻性，一般的公司并不具备这种理念。
