影像不再是记录现实的唯一媒介，纪录片也不再是回应现实的唯一方式。今天，越来越多创作者开始借助实验影像、声音、装置、计算媒介、游戏引擎、档案与人工智能，与现实建立新的关系。这些作品或许难以被纳入传统纪录片的框架，却正在成为当代非虚构实践的重要组成部分。

野艾实验室关注的并非某一种媒介，而是一种以非虚构为核心、以现实为工作对象的创作实践。我们支持从真实经验、社会观察、个人记忆、历史档案与具体情境出发，探索影像及其他媒介边界的创作，也鼓励创作者通过声音、空间、表演与技术等不同形式，发展新的叙事方法、感知方式与艺术语言。

第二届野艾实验室设立两个申请类别：纪实与非虚构长片以及拓展媒介与空间叙事，欢迎处于开发、制作及后期阶段的项目投递。伴随着现实和媒介更迭，我们将继续坚定地支持与陪伴那些走近他者、思考现实、钻研技艺、寻找真实痕迹的创作者。

此外，野艾实验室将探索与全球影像机构、电影节及艺术驻留项目建立合作，通过联合奖项、驻留项目、工作坊及交流等形式，为创作者搭建与国际艺术社群连接的桥梁。今年我们与弗莱哈迪电影研讨会（Flaherty Film Seminar）合作设立野艾实验室 x 弗莱哈迪奖学金（Jilu Commune Artemisia x Flaherty Fellowship）专项奖项，支持两位获选者线上参与第71届弗莱哈迪电影研讨会。另外，我们与印度尼西亚的纪录工作坊与提案论坛 Docs by the Sea 合作设立的奖项也将在近期公布，敬请期待。

Moving images are no longer the only medium through which we document the world, and documentary is no longer the only way to respond to it. Increasingly, creators are working across experimental moving image, sound, installation, computational media, game engines, archives, artificial intelligence, and other forms to develop new relationships with reality. Many of these works fall outside the conventional framework of documentary, yet they represent an important direction for contemporary nonfiction practice.

The Artemisia Fellowship is less concerned with medium than with a mode of practice: nonfiction at its core, and a commitment to working with reality. We support projects rooted in lived experience, social observation, personal memory, historical archives, or specific contexts, and encourage creators to expand the possibilities of moving images through diversified artistic forms, developing new approaches to storytelling, perception, and artistic expression.

For its second edition, the Fellowship introduces two application tracks: Documentary & Nonfiction Features and Expanded Media & Spatial Narratives, welcoming projects in development, production, and post-production.

The Artemisia Fellowship is also developing partnerships with leading international moving image institutions, film festivals, and artist residency programs to create meaningful connections between creators and the global arts community through joint fellowships, residencies, workshops, and public exchange. In 2026, the Artemisia Fellowship, in partnership with The Flaherty, launches the Jilu Commune Artemisia × Flaherty Fellowship, supporting two selected Fellows to participate online in the 71st Flaherty Film Seminar. We are also pleased to announce an upcoming partnership with Docs by the Sea, Indonesia's leading documentary platform, with further details to be announced soon.

适应类别：纪实与非虚构长片、拓展媒介与空间叙事

1. 申请作品须满足以下任意一项条件：

   至少一名主创为中国公民；

   至少一名主创在中国境内定居；

   制作公司为中国境内合法注册成立的实体；

   主要拍摄及制作地点在中国。

2. 申请人须为项目的版权持有人，并已获得全部所用素材的合法授权和权利，不存在违法、违规或侵犯第三方权利的情形；

3. 仅接受为独立制作的项目申请。不接受学生作品或机构委托作品（如广播公司、大学、非政府组织或品牌）等；

4. 已完成制作或已公开展映阶段的项目不具备申请资格；

5. 曾投递过往届「野艾实验室」的项目，若仍处于同一创作阶段，且未发生实质性进展或重大调整，将不具备本年度的申请资格。

Main Tracks

Applied to：Documentary & Nonfiction Features, Expanded Media & Spatial Narratives

1. To be eligible, the submitted project must meet at least one of the following criteria:

   at least one principal creator is Chinese;

   at least one principal creator resides in China;

   the production company is a legally registered entity in China;

   the primary filming and production locations are in China.

2. Applicants must hold the full copyright of the submitted project and secure legal rights to all materials used. Submissions must not involve any illegal activity, violations, or infringements of third-party rights.

3. Only independently produced projects are eligible. Student projects or those commissioned by organizations (e.g. broadcasters, universities, NGOs, or brands) will not be accepted.

4. Projects that have already been completed or publicly screened are not eligible.

5. Projects submitted to the previous edition of the “Artemisia Fellowship” are ineligible for resubmission this year if they remain in the same production stage and have not undergone substantial development or significant changes.

野艾实验室 x 弗莱哈迪奖学金

我们欢迎在各自领域关注公共实践与社群交流的申请者。无需学术背景，但申请者应满足以下条件：

1. 处于职业早期或中期的电影人、艺术家、策展人、节目策划人、学者及研究人员

2. 年满21周岁或以上

3. 此前未曾获得过弗莱哈迪奖学金

4. 能够全程参与本项目

5. 须具有华裔背景或居住于华语地区，或其主要创作、策展及研究课题须聚焦于华语社会

野艾实验室 × 弗莱哈迪奖学金共录取两名入选者。入选者须于弗莱哈迪电影研讨会结束后6个月内参与纪录公社举办的一场相关分享活动。

Jilu Commune Artemisia x Flaherty Fellowship

We welcome Fellows who demonstrate a deep interest in community engagement within their field. While no academic background is required, applicants should:

1. Be emerging or mid-career filmmakers, artists, programmers, curators, scholars or researchers

2. Be at least 21 years of age or older

3. Have not received a Flaherty Seminar Fellowship

4. Be available for the full duration of the program

5. Must be of Chinese heritage or residents of Sinophone regions, or their primary creative, curatorial, or research subject must focus on Sinophone societies.

Two Jilu Commune Artemisia Fellows will be selected. The selected Fellows are invited to offer a session with Jilu Commune to share their experience within 6 months after the Fellowship.

Now in its seventh decade, The Flaherty is an internationally recognized forum whose mission is to create and nurture spaces around the globe for collective inquiry into the form and function of independent non-fiction cinema. Through its annual Seminar, Fellowship program, and other initiatives, The Flaherty brings together an international and intergenerational community of filmmakers, scholars, curators, archivists, and cinephiles to explore the transformative power of non-fiction cinema and expand the limits of the medium itself.

Docs by the Sea 是印度尼西亚 In-Docs 组织的年度国际项目，旨在通过电影实验室和提案论坛支持亚洲纪录片创作者。该项目于2017年与印尼旅游和创意经济部合作启动，并与多家国际伙伴合作，将东南亚纪录片项目推向全球舞台。2022年起，项目将征集范围扩展至全亚洲的电影人。

Docs by the Sea is an annual international program by In-Docs, Indonesia, dedicated to supporting Asian documentary filmmakers through film labs and pitching forums. Launched in 2017 in partnership with Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the program has collaborated with a range of international partners to elevate Southeast Asian documentary projects on the global stage. In 2022, it expanded its submissions to filmmakers from across Asia.
