巴布亚新几内亚外长特卡琴科16日于社交媒体发布声明表示，巴新重申“一个中国政策”，并将关闭台湾设立于巴纽首都莫士比港（Port Moresby）的“驻巴布亚新几内亚台北经济办事处”。
萧美琴今天出席活动被问到相关议题声称，这是挫折，台湾外交处境非常辛苦，我们还是会继续做争取。
