格雷厄姆猝死，死因披露

据美国媒体报道，围绕猝死的美国共和党参议员林赛·格雷厄姆（Lindsey Graham）的死因，其发言人当地时间7月12日下午表示，据法医部门的初步调查结果，格雷厄姆的死因为“动脉粥样硬化性心血管疾病引发主动脉夹层”。法医部门表示，毒理学和微观病理检查尚未最终完成。

据介绍，主动脉夹层是一种危及生命的急症，表现为主动脉血管壁撕裂。

US Senator Lindsey Graham died after a tear in his aorta, according to a preliminary medical examiner finding shared by his office.

The tear in the inner wall of the aorta, called an aortic dissection, was related to the hardening of Graham’s arteries. An official cause of death will be disclosed after toxicological and microscopic testing.

Graham, a prominent South Carolina Republican and former Air Force lawyer who served in Congress for more than three decades, had turned 71 years old just two days before dying on Saturday night. His office had originally said he had suffered from a "brief and sudden illness".

美国全国广播公司（NBC）报道称，据该媒体获得的警方无线电录音显示，7月11晚间，紧急救援人员接到报警称，格雷厄姆在家中发生“心脏骤停”。NBC获得的照片显示，医护人员用担架将一名伤者从格雷厄姆家中抬到等候的救护车上，警车和消防车也赶到了现场。

格雷厄姆此前刚刚结束对乌克兰首都基辅的访问，他于7月10日会见了乌克兰总统泽连斯基。

美国总统特朗普称，他当晚与从乌克兰回国的格雷厄姆通了电话，对方“显得有些疲惫”。

He said on NBC's "Meet the Press" that Graham had called him on Saturday night after returning from a trip to Ukraine and "sounded a little bit tired, but perfect." The president ordered that flags across the country be flown at half-staff until next Saturday evening.

被称“最吵闹的战争贩子” 曾鼓吹对伊朗开战

格雷厄姆1955年生于南卡罗来纳州，法律专业出身，曾在美国空军法务部门服役，1994年首次当选联邦众议员，2002年首次当选联邦参议员，去世前担任联邦参议院预算委员会主席这一重要职位。

格雷厄姆被视为美国总统特朗普的铁杆盟友。不过，他在2015年参与角逐2016年总统选举党内提名时，曾痛骂同为竞选人的特朗普是“煽动种族仇恨、排外且具有宗教偏执的狂热分子”。但在特朗普首次当选后，他转而成为特朗普“最亲近的国会盟友之一”，常在公开场合为特朗普的政策立场辩护。

Graham, chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, was widely recognized as one of the most prominent and influential voices within the Republican Party on defense and foreign policy. He repeatedly pushed for aggressive US military actions abroad, maintaining a hawkish stance on Iran and vigorously defending the war.

Graham was elected to the US Senate in 2002 and was re-elected in 2008, 2014 and 2020. He formally ran against Trump for the Republican presidential nomination in 2015, but once Trump won the presidency in 2016, he underwent a massive political pivot and started backing the president. In the following years, Graham became one of Trump's most loyal defenders and closest confidants.

2024年，作为美乌矿产协议的发起者之一，格雷厄姆在美国福克斯新闻节目中直言，美国在乌克兰危机中拱火是“为了钱”，美国将从乌克兰价值上万亿美元的矿产资源和庞大的农业部门中获取经济利益。
