每经AI快讯，7月9日，《每日经济新闻》记者从小米集团处获悉，小米已将旗下开源物联网操作系统openvela定位升级为“AI硬件智能基座”，轻应用框架将首次向开发者全面开放。
小米还对openvela进行了底层架构的智能化升级。据悉，openvela生态设备的装机量已突破1.8亿，不到一年增长80%。（每经记者 杨卉）
