7月8日，四川宜宾一列智轨列车行驶中偏离线路，撞上路边栏杆，列车车身及护栏受损。记者从宜宾智轨交通有限公司获悉，发生事故的是T2线一列智轨列车，与栏杆发生擦挂，事发时为空载运行，未造成人员伤亡。智轨列车无需铺设实体轨道，依靠虚拟轨道跟随控制技术在路面行驶。
