7月7日，香港警方表示，元朗警区特别职务队联同入境事务处人员于区内展开代号“火石”的打击非法卖淫活动行动。
行动中，警方共拘捕24名内地女子，年龄介乎16岁至44岁，涉嫌“违反逗留条件”，所有被捕女子现正被扣留调查。
