7月2日消息，必和必拓（BHP）已向智利提交环境影响研究，申请重启位于该国北部的Cerro Colorado铜矿项目，计划投资15亿美元，将矿山运营寿命再延长20年。该矿因环境许可证到期，于2023年停止运营，目前获准维持临时停产状态至2028年，等待审批完成。
