据国铁南宁局，今年上半年，西部陆海新通道班列累计运输货物66万标箱，月均运量达11万标箱，运输市场需求维持高位，其中二季度较一季度环比增长3.6%，为促进我国与沿线国家经贸合作、维护全球供应链稳定提供强有力的运输保障。自2019年西部陆海新通道上升为国家战略以来，该通道班列运量年均增幅超50%，2025年运量首次突破百万大关达142.5万标箱，增幅迅猛。（央视新闻）
