6月23日，在WTA500巴特洪堡站女单第二轮比赛中，中国球员王欣瑜以6-3、6-4战胜前美网亚军费尔南德斯，本赛季第三次跻身巡回赛八强，这也是她职业生涯第二次闯入WTA草地赛八强和500赛八强。去年王欣瑜在WTA500柏林草地赛获得女单亚军。下一轮，王欣瑜将对阵斯维托丽娜和萨姆索诺娃之间的胜者。
