很多人分不清井盖和井篦，其实用途完全不一样。
井盖：全封闭，用于污水井、雨水井、水表井、电缆井，主要作用是封闭井口、防坠落、防异味外溢。
井篦：带镂空缝隙，专门用于路面、排水沟，作用是收集雨水、排水泄水，防止路面积水。
市政道路必须用重型球墨铸铁材质，能过车、抗压不易碎；小区人行道可用轻型款式，禁止使用易碎老式灰铸铁。
