当地时间6月14日凌晨，厄瓜多尔西南部沿海的圣埃伦娜省发生一起严重交通事故，两车相撞后侧翻起火，造成至少10人死亡、1人受伤。
事故发生后，事发路段一度封闭并出现严重交通拥堵，当地消防、急救和交通部门赶赴现场展开救援。目前事故原因尚未公布，相关部门已启动调查。（总台记者 廖开迪）
