中央气象台预计，6月12日至13日，西南地区、华东、华南及华北北部等地部分地区有大雨或暴雨，其中贵州、江西等地局地有大暴雨，上述部分地区伴有短时强降水，局地有雷暴大风等强对流天气。经综合研判和应急会商，6月12日11时30分，中国气象局启动重大气象灾害（暴雨）四级应急响应。
