5月28日消息，日本太空企业AstroX日前公布计划称，最快12月从放飞至20至25公里的平流层的气球上发射火箭，抵达高度100公里的太空。AstroX计划在12月前开展气球放飞试验与平流层点火试验。
AstroX计划在2029年度将小型人造卫星送入轨道，在2030年以后实现商业化。据该公司估算，每年发射50次，单次成本约为5亿日元。
