北京时间5月19日凌晨，巴西公布了世界杯大名单，效力于桑托斯的内马尔入选。内马尔的好朋友NBA勇士球星吉米-巴特勒直接将个人ins改成内马尔庆祝照，同时转发桑托斯社媒称赞内马尔。
吉米-巴特勒和内马尔关系非常好，此前巴特勒曾表示选择勇士10号球衣是因为内马尔。
截至目前内马尔共代表巴西国家队出场128次，贡献了79球和59次助攻。
