5月15日，在戛纳电影节期间，荣耀CEO李健宣布，荣耀Robot Phone将于今年第三季度正式发布。据介绍，荣耀Robot Phone搭载由其自研、行业最小的4DoF云台系统。更早之前，荣耀宣布与德国阿莱（ARRI）合作，将电影级色彩科学引入移动影像领域。
