印度政府数据显示，4月印度批发价格指数（INWPI）同比增长8.3%，较上个月的3.88%有所上升。此前路透社调查的经济学家预计4月批发价格同比上涨4.4%。
4月印度批发价格的上涨主要受到食品、燃料和制成品价格上涨的推动。其中，食品价格上涨14.6%，燃料价格上涨19.2%，制成品价格上涨6.5%。相比之下，初级产品价格仅上涨2.1%。
