财联社5月11日电，据法国方面消息，英国和法国将于12日举办一次多国国防部长会议，讨论有关恢复霍尔木兹海峡航运的军事计划。消息称，将有超过40个国家出席本次会议。此前，针对法国和英国牵头的霍尔木兹海峡多国护航行动，伊朗方面10日警告法英不要向霍尔木兹海峡部署军舰，加剧危机。 (央视新闻)
