小六壬，又称“六壬时课”或“马前课”。其核心是一种通过掌诀（即左手手掌上的大安、留连、速喜、赤口、小吉、空亡六个固定位置）进行占卜的方法，并结合了阴阳五行、天干地支、方位等传统元素。
相传此法为三国时期诸葛亮（字孔明）为在行军前方便测算吉凶而创。另有说法认为，小六壬时课乃唐代天文学家、术数家李淳风所创。
