5月7日，据《马卡报》报道，巴尔韦德和楚阿梅尼在训练中发生了冲突，巴尔韦德的伤口需要缝针。记者Ramón Álvarez de Mon表示，皇马内部的矛盾即使是穆里尼奥也解决不了，只要老佛爷能解决问题。
