4月30日，诺华公司发表声明称，计划在北卡罗来纳州莫里斯维尔新建一处活性药物成分生产工厂。该工厂是诺华宣布在美国投资230亿美元以来计划建设的第七处设施。该工厂占地5.62万平方英尺，将生产用于片剂、胶囊和RNA疗法的活性药物成分。
