新华社昆明4月28日电（记者王研）4月28日，云南省玉溪市中级人民法院遵照最高人民法院下达的执行死刑命令，对田永明执行死刑。玉溪市人民检察院依法派员临场监督。执行前，田永明与其近亲属进行了会见。
2026年2月3日，云南省高级人民法院经再审，以故意杀人罪宣判田永明死刑，剥夺政治权利终身，并依法报请最高人民法院核准。最高人民法院经复核依法核准田永明死刑。（完）
