根据路透社报道，因美国对波斯湾的封锁，伊朗石油大量积压，国内储油设施已经装满。但石油开采又不能停产，否则油井就得报废，重启需要花费大量时间和金钱。无奈之下，伊朗只能自己把多余的石油烧了。
这样不仅污染大气，也是巨大浪费，看来短期之内很难找到解决途径。美伊双方对霍尔木茨海峡海峡的封锁，真是一招臭棋，损人又不利己。
