财联社4月23日电，来自美国夏威夷大学马诺阿分校的研究团队根据一套基于海洋观测数据的简化模型预测，到今年底，赤道东太平洋将出现一次强厄尔尼诺事件，海温异常幅度可能比正常水平高出2℃以上。相关成果发表于最新一期《地球物理研究通讯》杂志。
