4月21日，在宁德时代超级科技日上，宁德时代首席技术官高焕宣布，第三代麒麟电池正式发布。据高焕介绍，第三代麒麟电池重量能量密度达280Wh/kg、体积能量密度达600Wn/L，可实现超1000公里的超长续航。高焕称，搭载该电池可让车辆底盘关键部件寿命提升40%，轮胎寿命提升30%。
