今日下午，在国家党闭门会议结束后，Luxon向媒体证实：“我正式提出了对我的领导地位进行信任投票的动议，该动议已获得通过。我作为党魁，拥有党团的全力支持。此事现已尘埃落定。”

投票结束后，新西兰国家党资深议员Chris Bishop表示，在今天的信任投票之后，国家党将“团结一致”地继续前进。
