4月7日，国家广播电视总局发布的新版播出机构名录（截至2026年3月31日）中，广东广播电视台现代教育频道已被撤销备案。
经了解，广东广播电视台现代教育频道，将于2026年4月30日停止播出。
实际上，关于现代教育频道停播早在去年就已有迹可循。
2025年6月，广东主流媒体吹响系统性变革冲锋号。其中，广东广播电视台计划首批停播3个电视频道和3个广播频率，现代教育频道位列其中。
现代教育频道停播，也标志着广东台系统性变革与资源优化调整工作，正在按计划稳步推进、逐步落地。
